My role: I am responsible for the overall delivery of the Isles of Scilly Link proposals including the Harbour Works. I represent Cornwall Council on the Route Partnership and I am lead person for Cornwall Council as accountable body to the project funders.

Position: Senior Project Manager for
My role: I manage the delivery of the Isles of Scilly link proposals on a day to day basis including the Harbour Works contract. My aim is to deliver a scheme on time and to budget, which meets the user requirements.
About me: I am a chartered Civil Engineer with experience in roads, structures and transportation projects. I joined Cornwall Council in 1988 and have overseen the delivery of numerous contracts, including the refurbishment of a former railway bridge on the Camel Trail at Padstow creating a vital link along this popular leisure route. I have been involved with the current project from early stages and am looking forward to moving ahead with the construction phase.
Dave Simpson
Position: Newquay Airport Construction Manager and Construction Manager for IOS Link Harbours Project
My role: I am involved in the selection of an operator for the Project's new vessel, and also the preparatory work for construction of the harbours.
About me:I moved to Cornwall aged 3 and have lived with my family near Marazion for the last 23 years. I am a chartered civil engineer and have a professional qualification in social work. I have worked on construction sites in Saudi Arabia and the west country for a total of 20 years and am a former Divisional Surveyor for West Cornwall responsible for highway safety and maintenance. I am a keen supporter of the Cornish Pirates.
